Many of us can endlessly argue about this topic and get to final compromise. For many people, to talk about sex and sexuality today is still taboo. For some, these two things have major places in the world and in everyday life.
One thing for sure, though, our views of sexuality today is influenced by our past. As with everything else, history plays a major role as to how things end in the present. The same principle applies to sexuality. The freedom of sexuality today can be traced back to how we view it in the past. Some call it improvement while some view it as worse conditions.
In the old days, the mere talk of sex can get you shunned by society. A teenager who explicitly shows he is knowledgeable about the idea of sex and sexuality can bring him straight to the detention room.
